CLIENT: Assabet Valley Collaborative

PROJECT:  new logo, branding, initial marketing brochure

Summary:  Assabet Valley Collaborative (AVC), a nonprofit educational service agency located in Central Massachusetts, is a regional, public, multiservice agency authorized by state law to develop, manage and provide services or programs to local education agencies, such as public school districts, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The purpose of an educational collaborative is to supplement and strengthen the programs and services of member school committees and charter boards.

Challenge: Assabet Valley Collaborative had been utilizing marketing materials that

lacked branding and consistency. Each department created their own materials as they needed them, so there was no continuity among the departments. Additionally, they needed marketing materials that could be translated into Spanish and Portuguese for their ESL clientele.

Solution: We went back to basics and facilitated a series of team meetings to develop their vision and mission, their audience(s), unique selling proposition, and messaging for each program. We created a new logo and developed their brand identity. We created an umbrella brochure that showcased each of their programs simplifying the way they explain their programs and services to their clientele.
