Creating a website with a virtual forum for a startup nonprofit foundation

CLIENT: Forever Victory Lap

PROJECT: Website

Summary:  Forever Victory Lap is 501c3, providing scholarships for less-advantaged children to participate in outdoor programs that will enrich their lives. Forever Victory Lap (FVL) was founded to motivate individuals to challenge themselves to set personal goals that inspire, empower and support others in need.  FVL was established in honor of Catherine Nix and her pursuit to live an inspired life. FVL encourages others to create and achieve a victory lap for themselves and FVL gives back to the community that Catherine cared so much about.

Challenge: As they launched their charity, Forever Victory Lap sought help developing and designing a website, that would include an online forum for people to share experiences and support each other as they explored various ways to “live like Nix.”

Solution: Catherine was a most inspiring person, and though we never met her, we felt like we got to know her throughout the creative and web design process working with her sister Molly. Her family’s photographs showed some of the most amazing vistas as a backdrop to Catherine’s outdoor adventures with friends and family and through her work at Teton Valley Ranch Camp. We knew that creating this website was a labor of love for Molly, and we wanted to ensure that the site lived up to her expectations and helped keep her sister’s love of life and the outdoors alive.
