Learn how we built and launched a website for a nonprofit that was enveloped under the umbrella MassHire brand

CLIENT: Mass Hire Metro South/West Career Connections

Summary: Career Connections became part of MassHire, the newly unified Massachusetts Workforce Development System in 2019 and was renamed MassHire Metro South/West Career Connections.  Career Connections is an education, job, and training program for young adults ages 17-24. This program is funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

Challenge: Under the Governor Baker Administration, the workforce development centers in Massachusetts were branded and marketed under the MassHire brand. Career Connections needed to update all of their marketing to match the MassHire brand and to build a custom website that fit their needs while still matching MassHire. Career Connections would now be called MassHire Metro South/West Career Connections and their website would be hosted under the MassHire umbrella website.

Solution:

We redesigned and rebranded all of the collateral materials to match the MassHire Style Guide including their logo, brochures, signage and other collateral materials. We launched their website in accordance with MassHire brand specifications and the targeted launch date. We wrote the content, developed and designed the new website that works both as a standalone and also as subpages from the MassHire Metro South/West regional workforce development website.

The end result was a customized website that targets youth and answers all of their questions and concerns in a clean, easy-to-navigate site.
